My name is Shay Dobson. I am a newborn and family photographer, based in Bountiful Utah, and find the most joy when capturing the tenderness of new life and the bonds within growing families. I studied in Utah Valley University’s excellent photography program, managed a studio in Utah Valley and Salt Lake Valley, and have taken countless family, toddler and newborn sessions. Now I am spreading my wings with my own business, and loving every second of it!
I am trained in newborn and child safety. CPR and first aid certified. Safety and comfort are the first priorities in all of my sessions. The way a session goes and how many poses or set ups we get to, is completely based on how baby is feeling. If the baby just isnt feeling it that day, we can always reschedule! All of my linens and swaddles are washed and sanitized after every use. I also do milestone, maternity, family, children and couple photos!
